Sea Smart School holds fun and educational hands-on programs for children in grades K – 12. Sea Smart teaches kids all about the ocean and the science behind it. Dr. Elaine Leung, with a PhD in Marine Biology has over 15 years of experience working in the field and runs the in school workshops, after school programs and summer camps passing on all her knowledge of the ocean.
Commissioned as Sea Smart’s submission for VIFF IMPACT, a showcase of nonfiction work which inspires conversion about change in the way we see the world, this video builds awareness to Dr. Elaine Leung and her cause. The video focuses on the differences she makes in the lives of the children who go through her program and their commitment in caring for the oceans.
